Week 7

Week 7

This week I have practiced more baseball and I am now able to bat roughly 25 meters. I have improved my batting skills quite a bit and am continuing to practice quite often.

I have decided to create a website to present my passion project. This website will include information about what I've learned, some tips about batting, some facts and possibly some helpful or inspiring quotes or facts about baseball, the teams and possibly some players.

Even though in class we will be presenting and finishing our projects, I will be continuing to practice and possibly blog about my experience and some new tips or facts I have learned about batting and just baseball in general, outside of school.

Week 6

Week 6

This week I've worked on my batting skills. So far I've thought of different ideas to present my project. I think I'll be creating a web-site to show what I've learned and how to properly bat. I've also started my plan/schedule for my batting practice.

Today I hope to start creating my web-site and possibly start writing my subtitles for my web-site. I also need to update my plan and continue working on my schedule/plan.

Week 5

Week 5

I have changed my passion project to learning how to properly bat a baseball. I have decided to change my subject because I have lost interest in learning Italian and I believe that it was a bit too difficult. I'd like to learn how to properly bat a baseball because I will be starting baseball outside of school as an extra-curricular activity. I think that passion projects are a great opportunity for me to properly learn this. I think that this is a really good idea for me.

Week 5 - 20 minutes after paragraph 1

I have created a plan and a document for myself and how often I will be practicing. The spreadsheet with my plan in it has 5 sections:
1. Date
2. Goal
3. Plan
4. Whether it went good or bad
5. Whether my goal was met or wasn't met

I have become very excited about my new passion project idea and I'm very excited to start working toward meeting my passion project goals.

Week 4

Week 4

This week I have focused on learning the language and figuring out what I should do to show my passion project. I think it would be interesting if I created an Italian monument. Possibly the Colosseum, or the leaning tower of Piza or the Roman Forum. I might paint Canale Grande in Venice, because that is really beautiful place and I think it would be a really pretty piece of art.

Week 3

Week 3

This week I have created a plan for learning Italian and I will now be practicing 5 minutes at least, every day. I have been keeping up with this schedule and have now learned over thirty words in Italian. I have continued listening on Duolingo to the way the word are pronounced and I will continue doing so.

Week 2

Week 2

This week, I have finished my 60-second-pitch and have presented it today. I already started learning some words in Italian and I have had a little bit of trouble pronouncing the words and remembering the words properly, but so far I'm doing fine with my project.

Week 1

Week 1
The 17th April, 2019
For my passion project, I will be learning how to speak, write and read Italian. I have already started learning yesterday, April 16th, 2019 on how to write and read a little bit of Italian. I believe that I will truly be able to accomplish my goal.
